2018 Sinochem Shoot

SINOCHEM SHOOT

Sunday 19th August brought true Scottish weather out for the Sinochem Shoot - cold and windy! But that didn't stop over 40 shooters coming out for a great day.

Hugo and his range setters set about throwing some absolutely fantastic targets.

The Famous Haggis stand was back with them skipping across the dam, with several sinking to the bottom after being overled, underled, over the top, too short and not anywhere near them! teamed with an overhead coming from the castle disappearing behind some trees to magically appear anywhere over the dam.

Due to blustery conditions, targets made their own flight pattern and had shooters really thinking about it! On one stand Im quite sure my shot was blown away before getting near the clay (that's my excuse - lol).

Climbing to the second level of the castle shooters were treated to some rabbits - a nice simm pair and an tricky edge on one all the way coming from under your feet - shot went all over it and around it but that damn bunny seemed just to keep running without a mark on him!

There was a mixture of targets but definitely all able to be shot and the range laid out was a credit to Hugo.

A big thank you to Hugo for his ongoing support to the club.

Winners on the day High Gun Winner with 77 was one of our Sub Junior Members Charlie North - hes definitely one to watch! Haggis Winner with 13/14 was Neil Donaldson - who couldn't believe he missed 1
