Country Wide Industries & Midwest Accident Repairs Just Brilliant

21/06/2013

Dubbo Field & Game Assoc. held it’s monthly shoot last Sunday at the Tantitha Springs range. The 100-target event drew shooters from Trangie,Gilgandra,           Forbes, Parkes, Mudgee and the surrounding area.

Rod Carr and Jake Guzelian were the layout designers for the event, putting together 2 x 25 target courses.

The targets presented were varied and compelling mimicking Rabbits, Springing Teal, Flying Frogs, Incoming Pheasants, and a legendary Black Duck. On the day 23 traps were used throwing mini, midi, battue and standard clay targets.

A number of Club members provided a hot lunch or more accurately a variable selection of casseroles and goulashes drawing many comments, mostly along the line that they are far better Chefs than Shooters.

Equal to the task, Dubbo Chef Chris Everett posted a score of 79+8/100+10 to join Dunedoo Shooter Jake Guzelian at the top of the field after the end of the last round.

A shoot-off ensued over 2 stands on the first course where Chris took the honors with a great display of focus and concentration.

Jake as a sponsor of the day provided a very smart Mig Welder as High Gun Trophy. He would of most certainly donated it back to the Club should the result have been different.

     Grade results are as following.

AA Grade 1st Chris Bourke 72
