Pubs R Us with Michael & Simone Lucas

Sunday 16th November was set to be a hot one, so range setters Grant, Mel, Michael & Lance went about finding the most shade possible for squads to stand under.
Grant & Michael went one way and Mel & Lance went the other creating chaos setting an array of different targets.
The range was up in the South top corner of the club, with a loop of 50 to get shooters through quickly and back out of the heat.
Range looked fantastic on Saturday with sponsor Michael coming out for a look, he and James tweaked a couple of targets, and we were ready to go.
Range one proved a little tricky with a simm pair coming off the yellow truck being wind affected, you needed to choose wisely which one you went for first. The teal proved itself along with a super mini. The pair of high loopers created havoc with a few shooters, I will own up to them, they were mine!
The rabbit in the corner was moved from its original position, but Grant has said it will appear in one of the future shoots – get ready for a bouncy rabbit!
Finishing up at the black duck dam with a target that just seemed to float in over the dam until the wind picked up and it plummeted!
But alas Narromine Sporting Clays is known for its wind! And it changed what we set. After a couple of alterations, 31 shooters tried their luck!
Congrats to Adam & PK for both hitting a 25/25. There was a couple of 24’s
Shooters were treated to make your own hamburgers for lunch which seemed to be a winner!
Presentation got underway quickly and shooters that had to travel were able to leave early.
It was great to see Neil back out at the club and he did a great job in the office. He will eventually get back out on the range.
Thanks to Grant, Mel, Michael O’D, Lance Murphy, Neil, PK, Craig, Paul L, Bloinky, Andrew T & Snow for all their help on the range, setting & packing up, kitchen, office and anywhere else they helped. Greatly appreciated.
Most of all we would like to thank our sponsors “Pubs R us” - Michael & Simone Lucas for their support to our club.
Lucky Door Prize was won by Tony “Snow” Burgess
While our sponsor Michael Lucas was drawn out for the Shooters Jackpot but unfortunately he was ineligible and it jackpots to $150.
Winners Are Grinners – Congratulations to Adam Carmichael who took High Gun with 88/100.
