Sunday 21 December brought on our Countrywide & Devils Hollow 100 target event and our last shoot for 2025.
Bloinky and the range setters went about creating a relaxing course! Looking at the scores all who attended enjoyed them.
Starting off on the roadside dam, the stands followed the creek crossing at the tower in progress back to the Black Duck dam, Coleys tower finishing at the dreaded tree where those pesky mixo rabbits live.
The range consisted of incomers, outgoers, simm pairs, super mini (who was over led by a fair few), on the tower with a crosser that disappeared into the trees, a rabbit that seemed to know exactly when to jump over your shot, onto the dam with a high incomer that seemed to appear out of nowhere in the blue sky and 2 crossers. Two low quick outgoers tested a few with a simm.
Then finally the mixo rabbits, some of those had superpowers and could roll straight thru 8’s being sprayed at them and come out the other side unscathed, laugh at the shooter on the way past to finally come to rest while the shooter scratched their head and the rest of squad heckled!
2 shooters were able to secure themselves one of our brand new 25 Break Badges – Congrats to Adam Carmichael & Dean Delaney
The committee shouted lunch for all that were there, I did hear no one went hungry!
Lucky Door prize won by Andrew Adams
Pre Nom draw won by Jeff Hall
The Shooters Jackpot was won by none other than Grant Berryman and for the first time was not there! We took so much fun in ringing him!
So he was ineligible and will jackpot to $200. Remember to be eligible you must have been at the previous 3 shoots and be in attendance at the draw.
Thank you to all that helped in anyway, range setting, office, kitchen, packing up, cleaning up, when a lot of you jump in and assist it makes a big task smaller.
We would like to express our appreciation to our sponsors: Rod from Countrywide Industries and Devils Hollow Brewery Dubbo for their continued support of our club.
Winners Are Grinners: Congrats to High Gun Winner Dean Delaney 95/100
