With numbers down due to only one day, a Sunday and cost of fuel, 55 shooters took to the stands to compete for the honours of wearing that blue sash for the day.

Our original range setter got his butt stuck on the tractor so Bloinky & Grant took the reins. Friday saw Grant, Bloinky, Paul Purvis, Mel and Tony Monk setting out the range to the nearly completed stage, and Saturday Bloinky, Mel, Grant, Les Townsend, Tony Monk, Tony Everett, Allan Moeller, Denis Coaker & Chris Everett finalising the range so we thought! We had PK come out to inspect the range, and 5 hrs later it was ready to go!

From teals, loopers, high incommers plummeting to earth when they ran out of spring, an edge on rocket if you missed it first shot, a couple of simm pairs especially the one on the last stand. Some said theres only one way but others chose to prove them wrong and did it smashingly (no pun intended).

Thank you goes to the ones that were out there the days before setting up, to those who stuck around and helped pack up (yes it did start to rain while we did that), to those in the office, the kitchen and especially those who gave their shooting up for the day to run the range.

Team Event Winners for this Shoot were Shoalhaven 1 – Warren Thorpe, Steve Atkins, Jed &  Christian Leadbitter with a score of 337 with Narromine 1 not far behind on 326.

Lucky Shooters Jackpot went off to Adam Carmichael who took $100 cash home with him.
