THE MACQUARIE CLUB DUBBO STEPHEN SMITH MEMORIAL SHOOT

The inaugural “Macquarie Club Dubbo Stephen Smith Memorial Shoot” was held Sunday 19th January 2025.

In memory of “Smithy” shooters came out for the 128T English Sporting event set by range captain Tony Corderoy and his helpers.

In true fashion, the sun was shining, slight wind and awesome targets. High, low, crossers, outgoers and those pesky mixo rabbits! Those are the ones that bring shooters undone!

It was great see to Stephens family come out and catch up with us all.

Sharon even took on that all important role of Bloinkys kitchen witch along with Min which was hugely appreciated.

Thank you goes always to our sponsors, range setters, to those in the kitchen, office and all that assisted.

A big loved filled thank you to Smithys family.

Winners are Grinners

There were quite a few of the shooting family that wanted their name on the shield so it was hotly contested.

The first name to go on the “Stephen Smith Memorial Shield” is Chris “Horse” Bourke with an impressive 105/128.

Congratulations to Horse!
