Aspect Property Shoot
Sunday 27th April brought the Aspect Property 100T Event and also about 40ml of rain across the range. Shooters were treated to being able to shoot in some much needed rain. Unfortunately being out in duck weather scared quite a few shooters off and made the range a little sloppy under foot. But this didn’t stop the 20 odd die hards from coming out and enjoying some great targets and a yummy lunch – yep Chef Bloinky was back in the kitchen cooking up a storm!
The range setters kept the range on one side of the creek using the terrain to hide traps and targets. Some of the targets kept shooters thinking they were easy only to walk out of the cage wondering what happened. Sneaky rabbits appearing out of no where and disappearing into the bush before you could blink. We had high birds, crossers and outgoers – something for all!
A couple of cages gum boots were recommended due to water running thru and lots of mud! But we weren’t complaining as it was needed.
As special gesture first time sporting clays shooter Luke Thompson scored himself some shells for him to use when he comes back. Which he has said he will be! Another one Hooked!
Thank you all to set the range, packed up, in the kitchen & office and to anyone else who assisted for the day – always appreciated
