Sunday 20th July brought the end of the inaugural Christmas In July 2 day shoot with over 50 shooters coming out to play. Some returning for the 2nd day and others coming out for their first taste of Christmas in July fun.

The BRB boys tweaked a couple of targets and we all lined up again for awesome targets and loads of fun and laughter. Just for giggles they left those mixo rabbits in to test shooter’s ability and patience.

The $500 was up again for high gun along with $100 for the next top 9 scores and grades were paid 1st to 3rd.

During the weekend we went on a fundraiser rampage for 2 of our members son Alex McGrath who is representing Australia in October up in Brisbane. Through 100 clubs, donations and auctioning a few slabs we managed to send Alex off with over $3000 to assist with the costs of attending the games.

Once again, we would like to thank our sponsors for the day the BRB boys, Chris “Horse” Bourke, Murray Rees, Glen Bloink along with their families for their continued support of the club.

Winner Are Grinners and once again the big fella Stephen Cooper took out the honors again with an impressive 101/104 after nail biting shoot off with Dean Delaney.
